Adat Trails in Ngada

Adat Trails Ngada is a cultural treasures hunt in Ngada district where visitors will experience the local culture and feel the spirit and soul of Ngadanese culture and its natural wonders. Adat trails offers various activities things that visitors can see and do in each villages by trekking from one village to another through various trekking paths, and “hunting” the traditional artifacts in each villages and getting a close-up view of the humble daily life of Ngadanese.

The Adat Trails offer you with two options; Two-day trail and One-day trail. The Two-day trail takes two days to complete with overnight stay in Tololela Village. The Tololela homestay are well equipped with mattress, blanket, mosquito net and provide with delicious local meals and the warmth hearted and friendliness of the people.  The trail passes through the following villages: Bhetopadhi – Be’a- Tude-Bena-Tololela-Gurusina-Bu’utolo-Wajo-Nage and ended at Malanage hot spring.

As for the One-Day trail passes through from Bhetopadhi – Be’a – Tude – Bena and ended in Luba Village or you can choose the other trail starts  from Bena – Tololela – Gurusina – Bu’utolo – Wajo – Nage and ended at Malanage hot spring.

The Adat Trails is developed by Tourist Guide Association of Ngada (HPI) in collaboration with Flores DMO, facilitated by Swisscontatc WISATA II. It is a great opportunity to get an authentic experience of the beautiful landscape and rich culture of the most hidden treasure villages of Ngada district.
