Flores DMO in ITB Asia 2017 – Asia’s Leading Travel Trade Show

ITB Asia is an annual event of Travel Trade Show, held three day B2B trade show and convention for the travel industry; it is designed to become the primary event for the Asia Pacific travel industry. Now in its tenth year in Singapore, ITB Asia 2017 will take place at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands, from 25 – 27 October. The event will feature hundreds of exhibiting companies from the Asia-Pacific region, Europe, the Americas, Africa and the Middle East, covering not only the leisure market, but also corporate and MICE travel.

More than 70% of ITB Asia’s buyers are from the Asia Pacific region. The Asian outbound market continues to attract huge interest and Singapore is one of top 15 tourism market for Indonesia. Diving and island hopping is still the main interest for Asia market especially Singaporeans. As for Flores as an emerging destination in Indonesia, the significant growth of international visitor numbers to Komodo National Park (41.972 visitors in 2012 and 78.617 visitors in year 2016) making it as one of the top 10 tourism destination priority in Indonesia 2015-2019.
